A Thankful Heart

Luke 17:11-19

English Standard Version (ESV)

Jesus Cleanses Ten Lepers
11 On the way to Jerusalem he was passing along between Samaria and Galilee. 12And as he entered a village, he was met by ten lepers,[a] who stood at a distance 13and lifted up their voices, saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us." 14When he saw them he said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." And as they went they were cleansed. 15Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice; 16and he fell on his face at Jesus’ feet, giving him thanks. Now he was a Samaritan. 17Then Jesus answered, "Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine? 18Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?" 19And he said to him, "Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well."

I have much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving season.
Have you given thanks?

[Edit]

Matthew and I were going to watch a (second) movie this evening... but he decided he no longer wanted to. So I must satisfy myself with doing some homework and of course, updating the blog.

My list of things I am thankful for include:

Jobs for both my husband and myself.
A nice house (and a husband who has really stepped up to help keep it neat and clean).
Preggo pants.
Patience, for myself and Matthew.
Health insurance.
Good books a plenty.
Almost being finished with my Master's (only 3 more weeks!).
Not needing to buy new winter shoes yet since I live in VA (my normal winter shoes aren't comfy being preggo).
Netflix- let's be honest, it's my friend.
Facebook- easy communication, especially to those I don't want too close of a relationship with (again with the honesty).

ESPECIALLY: My handsome, growing, thumping baby boy!

Of course, there are the things I am thankful for every year:
My relationship with Jesus Christ.
My family.
My friends.
My kitties.

Yes, I have a lot to be thankful for this holiday season. I have been extremely blessed in life and I cannot wait to see what is next!
