outlaw

Minus the whole killing anyone who gets in your way part, I think being an outlaw in the old west would've been pretty interesting. I'm watching 3:10 to Yuma. Maybe it's just that Russell Crowe makes it look so good. I also think being a pirate and commandeering a whole fleet of ships would be great too. Again, the whole killing humans part wouldn't sit right with me. Can you be a crook, but a good crook? I guess Ben Wade was as good a crook as any. But he still killed lots of people. But he looked so good while doing it.

Seriously, we Ivesons pick the best kittens! Matthew picked out Emily and she has been our pride and joy for 1.5 years. She is beautiful and has lots of personality and answers our every call. Now I picked out Maxie (though I still think he looks like an Oscar) and he is pretty much as perfect a kitten as you'll ever find. He runs around playing with toys, jumping on Emily, and exploring every nook and cranny of his new home. Then he tires out and comes to find Matt or I and climbs onto our laps, curls up, and falls sound asleep. He doesn't just sit anywhere to nap, but he has to find us first. Even last night, we left him downstairs to fend for himself but I woke up several times throughout the night and he was right there on top of me! He isn't afraid of the broom or the washing machine. He isn't afaid of Emily even though she started out hissing and growling at him. He is just a wonderful kitten. The two cats are finally getting along and Emily knows we still love her and she's starting to play with Maxie. He is the perfect little addition to our family.

Matt and I keep wondering what we'll do when we have an infant if we're this crazy about our kittens!

Happy Memorial Day! God bless the United States Military, both past and present. Your service is greatly appeciated!
