I was up until after 4 am last night. The last time I checked the clock it was 4:20 am. I was awake for some time after that also. Boo. My stomach hurt and my head ached. I have no idea why. It was quite annoying. I fully intended on sleeping in very late this morning. No such luck. Of course. I woke up around 8 am and couldn't fall back asleep. I stayed in bed until 10:30 just to make myself feel better. I have already done my workout, gotten pretty for the day, prepped our dinner for tonight (chicken since pork was a no go), and run all my errands that have piled up over the week. I'm feeling more awake than I would expect and have nothing to do. I don't feel like reading since my head still kind of aches. I'm going to apply for a few more jobs this afternoon. Here's hoping something turns up! Thanks for all the prayers that have been lifted for me. I'm getting everyone I know praying about this situation. Plus, I just found a great place for Matt and I to live next year as long as I get a new job. I've been searching for the right space for the right price and think I found it. It's a complex so there should be openings whenever. We'll get our name in quickly and hopefully secure a place sometime next spring. But it all depends on a new job. We could still afford the rent on our salaries now, but we'll also be paying for Matt's grad school if a new job doesn't pop up. Boo for finances.
Anyways, so I'm just waiting for Matt to get home from work. I saw this little questionnaire on facebook so thought I'd do it real quickly. Then on to the job search!
Ten Things I Wish I Could Say to Ten Different People.
1. I just love you is all.
2. I'm not sure what happened and I'm not sure why, but if it was my fault I'm sorry. Let's be friends again, yeah?
3. You inspire me.
4. I never really liked you anyways, so sorry.
5. Grow up. Grow a pair. And get a real job... or a real education for that matter. Just do something!

6. Stop complaining.
7. I really really miss you. Remember when we used to talk until 4 in the morning? Let's be friends again. Soon.
8. Do what you will, just don't hurt yourself or others in the process. You are worth it. You're worth it all.
9. Let's go fly a kite up to the highest heights, let's go fly a kite and send it soaring. Up to the atmosphere up where the air is clear, oh let's go fly a kite.

10. Don't be so dramatic. The world really doesn't revolve around you no matter how much you think it does. And the sad part is, you don't even realize the friendships you're losing.
Nine things about myself:
1. I hate my hair. I wish it were curly. Just like everyone else with naturally straight hair.
Nine things about myself:
1. I hate my hair. I wish it were curly. Just like everyone else with naturally straight hair.
2. I am very materialistic. I think so at least. I want all new furniture and expensive clothes and to be a member at the club. But I'm doing pretty well living within my means. I do have high expectations though.
3. I am living for the day I can be a stay at home mom. I am excited for a new adventure each and every day.
4. I really don't like using lotion. But I have very dry skin (except for my oily face) so I have to use some every day. It's annoying.
5. If I could've been a professional cheerleader I would have. I went to a Baptist school though. While being good for cheerleading at my school, I wouldn't have been able to catch up. It would've been awfully fun though.
6. I think hell will be different for every person. And it wouldn't be anything like you'd imagine... it'd be 100x worse. The absence of God alone would be suffocating.
7. I am very opinionated.
8. If hope my husband and I can retire young and travel the world. I have a list to see. The capitals of Europe. The seven wonders of the world (for the most part). Visiting every continent. The Great Wall of China. A Mediterranean Sea cruise touring Greece and Italy. The Atlantis resort in the Bahamas. I have details written down, but that's the basics.
9. I have been to Mexico twice, Canada twice, Brasil, Jamaica, England, Scotland, and Israel.
Eight ways to win my heart:
1. A good smirk.
2. Laughing even when I'm not funny, but not over doing it either.
3. Panera.
4. Peach tea roses.
5. Holding my hand.
6. Gaining my trust.
7. Hand written letters.
8. A new adventure every day.

Five people who mean a lot.
Five people who mean a lot.
1. Jesus Christ. No, I'm not just saying that because it's the "right" answer. He's taught me a lot this summer. I needed a good kick in the pants.
2. Matthew. My husband. To have and to hold forever.
3. My family- birth, adoptive, and in laws. I have been thoroughly blessed.
4. Abby and Jon. What would Matt and I do without them?
5. Obama. He has a lot of power right now. I think that translates into meaning a lot.
Four things you're wearing right now.

1. My wedding ring.
2. My brightly colored floral dress.
3. My antique spoon ring.
4. My diamond journey necklace. I like my accessories better than my clothes apparently.

Two things you want to do before you die.
Two things you want to do before you die.
1. Meet my birth family.
2. Be published in some way, shape, or form. I haven't decided what genre or media yet.
One confession:
One confession:
To boost my self esteem I'll look at other peoples facebook pages (pictures or blogs) who I know have a more miserable life than me somehow. There are a few different reasons probably better left unsaid. But yeah, I'm basically a pig.
Well, only 1.5 hours till Matt gets home. I could read, my headache doesn't throb as much. Meds generally work quickly for me but this is a nasty one.
Off to fill out more job applications. I just need to remain thankful that I have a job and trust God to place me where He wants me. It sure isn't easy though.
Cheers.
