Today was an excellent husband and wife day. My husband is pretty excellent all on his own though.
We woke up (much earlier than I would've liked) and got all ready for "becca and matt's day of fun!" not really, we just took our showers. After looking at my recent pictures, I've decided that I don't wear enough makeup. So I did a little something fun with my eyes. And my hair looked great. (of course, it would rain)
We made cinnamon rolls and scrambled eggs for breakfast. Delicious. And we headed out to do some shopping.
I bought my first (and second) t shirt bra! I didn't know what I was missing before! I'll probably never go back. All of my other bras are lacy and require some kind of undershirt over top of them. But these are just perfect! I can wear any tee over them and you can't see any lines or anything. Perfect. No more undershirts for me! Well, not every day at least.
Then Matt told me I could get two new books from Barnes and noble! What a good husband. I bought Dante's inferno and paradise lost by Milton. It was but two get one free, so we also got the set of war by sun tzu. All three that Matt would also enjoy once I'm finished. A great stop. I also ran into my favorite little students, the Paris family, while we were there. Such sweethearts.
We looked at computers and videogames and kittens after that. I'm deciding if I want another kitten yet. Matt needs either a new computer (for around 600$ since he's a gamer) or a few new parts for his (around 150$). I have been wanting a macbook pro for quite awhile for picture editing and movie making. But we'll probably wait until closer to baby time for that. Of course, Matt wants to try to get me one for my birthday. I just don't think so. I also want a canon cam corder. The one we could get is around 350$ but there's a better one for around 900$. Urg. We'll see what we come up with.
We bought a lot of hangers for only 5$. Great deal. Now our closet won't be quite so packed and disorganized, hopefully. And we dropped off there huge garbage bags full of clothes, shoes, and purses off at goodwill. Out with the high school fashions, in with the career and mommy apparel!
We ate a fabulous lunch at Ledo's. And we're having leftovers from the past few dinners for dinner. Matt said we could watch pearl harbor too! He likes wW2, but he doesn't like affleck... Oh well.
What a good day.
