High school musical marathon complete. And I have to say that I enjoyed it. I liked them better than I thought I would. They're not my favorites or anything, but I've always been a fan of Disney, dancing, and musicals. I guess it just took me awhile to get over my "Zac Efron is a fairy boy" platform. Naw, he's a very talented actor and musician. He and Vanessa Hudgens really made the movies great because you could tell they cared about their work and were having fun too. I'll probably end up owning the soundtracks, since that is my favorite genre of music! Some of the songs were a little eh, but a few were great. For those few I'll give the movies an A.

I played football this afternoon with my husband. I can throw a pretty decent spiral, but when it comes to catching I'm the girliest of girls. I hold my arms straight out with my hands forming a shield in front of me. I try to block myself more than trying to catch the ball. I commented to Matthew how his brother would probably have a good laugh about it if he could see me. But I was wearing my tapout shirt so that will redeem my poor football skills.

Last night I made stuffed shells. Delicious. I'm always worried when I make something for dinner instead of simple box recipes. But these turned out really good. Definitely a recipe I'll repeat. I used spinach along with the ricotta cheese for the filler which was delicious. I had a bunch of other recipes I wanted to try but we were missing ingredients. so stuffed shells it was.

I tried out Redeemer Presbyterian church this morning. I'l probably keep attending there for a while, at least until Matthew stops working Sunday mornings. It was a little different since Matthew and I weren't raised Presbyterian, but the sermon was grounded in scripture. The pastor said something towards the start of his sermon that didn't seem accurate to me, but he later added to his original statement so it made much more sense. It's only 5 minutes from our home so ideally located. A good filler church until Matthew and I find someplace to become members together. And by then we might move away from Lynchburg anyways. So this will be a good place for me to worship on Sundays.

We're going to the mall later to try to find me a dress for Jon and Andrea's wedding... again. I just can't seem to find what I want. All the dresses I find are either too short, too retro, too ugly, or too large. It's apparently a bad time to be a size xs/s because all those sizes are sold out in dresses I would consider. Hopefully today will be more successful.

Toodles.
