Merry Christmas! Happy birthday Jesus!
It was so nice having matt's whole family here for Christmas. Matt's parents and Mark came over around 11. Josh and Jamie came an hour or so after that. We all caught up on life, opened some amazing presents, and tossed around my new football in the street. That's right, I asked for a football for Christmas. Then we had a most delicious dinner of ribs, cheesy potatoes, green bean casserole, rolls, and lemon fluff. Yum. My mother-in-law is an excellent cook. Sometimes Matt says my dishes taste like hers, I take that as a high compliment. The kitty quickly became acquainted with everyone and let everyone hold her and pet her. It was a great Christmas, although since it was warm and sunny outside it didn't seem much like Christmas since I'm used to two or more feet of snow. Now we're watching our new blu ray The Dark Knight on our new TV. Quite the relaxing evening.
Last night I anxiously awaited Matt coming home from work. I had a pile of presents for us from my family that my in-laws were kind enough to bring down for us. We got some pretty nice stuff. My mom thinks she's so funny. She put money in this game that we have to play and win in order for us to get the money out of it. It wasn't too difficult but at first we were aggravated because we thought it would take longer than it did. It was fun opening our stockings and Emily's stocking. She got a lazer pointer which she loves. Qe ran her around in circles and she jumped up on our curtains when we took it up there. She can jump as high as I am tall! It is quite the little acrobat.
Well, time to get back to the family. Tomorrow we're going out to spend our gift cards! Woo!
God bless us! Every one!
