What an... Uneventful morning. At least so far. I agreed to substitute in the St. Johns nursury for a few Sundays, this being one of them. U arrived promptly at 7:45... And no one was here. Finally the regular caregiver arrived and she said not many people come to the early service. I wish I would've known that so I could've brought a book. At 9:15 we head down to my regular classroom and a few older kids arrive generally. Maybe no one will come then either. This will be the easiest 60$ I've ever made. It will make for good Christmas money. I have a few weeks in December to sub and the first week in January. The extra money will be nice since I won't be working for two weeks over Christmas for school holiday.
Speaking of school holiday, this week I only nanny on Monday because they are going away for Thanksgiving. And the school has break on Wednesday for the weekend! It should be a nice restful week for me. Hopefully I'll have time to get completely well again. I also plan on going all out for Matthew and my Thanksgiving feast! We'll have leftovers until Christmas with all the food I'm planning to make!
Emily still continues to be settling in incredibly well. She will usually come when she's called. She comes to us and hopes up on the couch or bed to get some pats. She will mew at us if she doesn't feel like she's getting enough attention. She has stolen some food right off our plates, but we don't really mind. She's eating pretty well, but we just switched her food. So we'll see how she likes it. She has gotten in the habit of waking us up in the morning. She jumps on our bed and walks on us until we wake up and scratch her. She's the next kitty. She did pull out some of her stitches from when she was spayed, but I cut them off and it scabbed over that night. Hopefully she won't continue to pick at it and she'll let it heal. She's a good companion though. She likes taking naps on us, especially when she snuggles up right against our faces! She has no sense of personal space. She is the perfect kitten and we love her.
The end.
