So I admit, I was a bit hasty in my "bad day mood funk" earlier. So I am reposting. Hopefully no one will be so curious as to step back a page and see what I posted earlier today. I know, I just secured the fact that everyone will wander back a bit to see what was posted and why I was having a bad day. Ah well. Oh, but look at the time! It's past midnight. A new day. So maybe yesterday was pretty bad after all and now I'm in a rather light mood due to the newness of the day.

Anyways, after filling two photo album with honeymoon pictures and starting on our wedding thank you postcards, I am in a much more pleasant mood. So here's a fun story for you. Last year I discovered Walgreens. That's where I get my prescriptions taken care of but I usually do that online and through the drive through. So I wandered in one day and discovered that there are some not so unattractive photo albums there. I bought two matching ones thinking they'd be great someday in our living room. Well, they have sat empty in my junk drawer this whole time. And after awhile I decided I didn't like the design on the cover of them. But what's this? They have just the right amount of pages for our honeymoon pictures! I thought we'd have enough to fill one of the books comfortably, but no. We filled both books! And there's room for over 200 pictures in each book. Yeah, we went a little picture happy. It was Europe, can you blame us? So many pretty statues and buildings to take pictures of. Plus my handsome husband. Plus I had just received a new camera lens for graduation. I might as well use it.

I also watched about a disc and a half of Gilmore Girls while sorting through our pictures, putting them in order, and filing them away in the albums. And writing thank you notes is surprisingly uplifting. So if you ever are in a foul mood as I was a few hours ago, pull out the stationary and write someone you know a thank you letter for all they do in your life.

My husband just remembered that you can download free demos onto the playstation 3. Needless to say, my Gilmore Girls was put to a halt and he downloaded enough demos to keep himself occupied for the next few weeks. Yes, rather enjoyable indeed. And that means I have to put up with the thrashing and killing noises. Yeah, maybe I'll retire to the bedroom for the night and read my book. With the iHome blaring of course to keep out any of the nasty sound effects.

All this to say, I am in a much better mood. I love my wedding pictures. I love my husband. And I love my life. I have nothing to complain about. I was just having a moment of weakness.

Thank you, Lord, for all you have done for me.

Sincerely,
Rebecca Iveson
