Hump Day... again... and again...

Time is actually going quite quickly, which is definitely good. But it does seem like the middle of the week is the longest. But that also means that I'm halfway through another work week. And we're almost to Thanksgiving! Which means a nice little break of a weekend. Sigh.

Our computer program is being updated over the next few days. That means the office is closing at 6 during the week and closed on Saturday! I was supposed to work the evening shift tomorrow and now I'm working the normal day shift. Yay! We also work rotating Saturdays, every third Saturday, and this week was my Saturday! Double yay! What a nice surprise to come back to work to! Yesterday was my comp day since I was scheduled to work Saturday. Ah, what a nice and lovely week.

I had my girlfriends over last night. Quite enjoyable. I am so thankful to have found such a fun group of girls to get together with every week. It definitely helps me to be less of a hermit... a little. But hey, I've also branched out at work! I talk to the people in the cubicles around me regularly every day. I know, I'm not a shy little nothing anymore! Well, I am but I'm getting better.

Matt and I watched the new Star Trek last night. Matt had a fever on Monday so he stayed on sick. I actually quite enjoyed it. It was a very clever reproduction. Very skillfully done. It wasn't as cheesy as I was expecting it to be. I'm definitely not a trekkie, but I used to enjoy watching the show when I was flipping through the channels. It was a nice break from zombies or other nastiness that Matt and I normally watch together. I also rented The Reader. Hopefully it's interesting and not super disturbing.

I have about 20 minutes left of my lunch break. Then five more hours of making out bound calls trying to get students to complete financial check in. Hopefully it will go by quickly. I am extremely tired today but don't want to drink coffee so I go to bed in good shape tonight.

Mmm, weekends... it can't come soon enough!
