As promised, a photo update. Someday I'll get so organized that I'll post pictures as they happen. Wouldn't that be something? A post that's contents actually have to do with the pictures linked to them? I'm actually a pretty organized person. I just don't turn my computer on much anymore. I do most of my posting from my blackberry. Oh technology. I really enjoy using my computer when I turn it on. And it really isn't as slow as I make it out to be. I think it'll last for at least one more year. I'm hoping it lasts for two. I want to get a Macbook in two years, but I'll end up getting one as soon as this one kicks. Hopefully it'll last for two more years. I've treated it well. Anyways. Promised pictures from my summer!

I've been meeting with a group of wife friends of mine on Thursdays just to chat about marriage, life, and for a break from the day to day. They have become very good friends of mine and I am so thankful to have found such great friends who understand what I'm talking about. We decided to have a wedding dress photo shoot. Not all the girls could make it, but we still had fun.

I've never seen the show, but I think we'd be better!
Wedding rings!
Kirsten, Viv, Christie, Danielle, Becca
Love the sun and the setting.
Danielle has started up a photography business. She set up the poses while her sister managed the camera.
We were at the cemetery. I found a kitty I wanted to take home! It looked just like Emily, only dirtier, mangier, and scrawnier! It was fidgeting a lot, it wanted to be pet but not picked up.
Attitude.
Pretty flowers.
Handsome husbands.
All spread out. By this time we were all really hot, sweaty, and cranky! Wearing our wedding dresses during the summer in Lynchburg was not the best fashion choice, but it sure was fun!
And now some pictures from our 4th of July weekend in New Bern, NC visiting Jon and Andrea! Matt found one of Jon's Marine hats.
Ange and I while the boys grilled out delicious dinner.
The hubband.
This is what they would've done all weekend if we would have allowed it! Call of Duty. With Zombies. Such great quality time.

We went to the beach on the 4th! So beautiful. Jon and Matt body boarded a lot. It was easy to find them in the water because they bought those bright yellow and red shirts.
What a good looking pair.
Grabbing some lunch in between beach trips.
At beach number two of the day! We didn't feel or look burnt yet, but we were!
See how white Matthew is? Yeah, he got burnt pretty severely! You can see the line from his yellow Tee already! He peeled for weeks.
And that has been our summer thusfar. Nothing too exciting, but it's summertime! I've enjoyed being lazy and relaxing at home. Hopefully I can find a year round job before next summer. I'll try to find something to keep me busy either way. I need some kind of routine.

I'm afraid Emily might be sick. I'll be keeping a close eye on her. She's been super snuggly, which I love. But she's also been meowing kind of funny. When we pick her up she almost sounds like it hurts. And she hasn't had much of an appetite. She had one worm in her poop once but I've been checking ever since then and haven't seen anything. If she isn't back to herself by next week I'll find a vet. She had all her worm shots before we got her so I sure hope it isn't that. She's 13 months now so maybe she was supposed to have another round of shots for her 1 year, I don't know. I didn't think it was a big deal with cats. Especially since she's an indoor cat. Oh well.

One more thing before I close. Is everyone still all about Obama? Or has the fad died down? Because you might want to take a look at what he's been doing since he's in office and what he plans to do in the future. Even democrat politicians are beginning to wonder about the way he's going about things. Check it out. We asked for it, good job America. Everyone knows about all the public healthcare issues going back and forth. I honestly don't understand how anyone can see that positively. You won't have any control over your own policy. Do you understand that? You'll have to wait for the convenience of your doctors. The government will be able to say yea or nay to anything you might need, surgury, medications, etc. And it's just one step away from making euthanasia acceptable. When a person is too old they will no longer be of value to the government, so just deny them health benefits of any form. And that's just one step away from not only legalized abortion, but mandatory abortion. Population control. One child per family, period. That should help the unemployment issue, not as many people for hire. Just like China. It seems inhumane to us right now, but little by little the government will make these issues seem like common sense. Progressive. Is that really the kind of country we want to become? Big Brother is indeed watching you. He's sneaking around behind your backs, but also saying hello with a smile to your face. And you're letting him into your house as a visitor you hope to impress. Silliness. That's America. We've become silly in our own quest for progress. Well, I expect we'll get what's coming to us in the the end. And I'm thankful to know that I'm on the winning side. Whether I live until then or not. The rest of the world can do what they like, I'm in the army of the Lord.

Ok, so that paragraph touched on a bunch of different topics all wrapped into one. I had better stop now before I really jump on that soap box and start going. I become unintelligible. I don't know a lot about politics, but I know what I hear and read and see. And it isn't very pretty.

Good night. I hope you and your family remain safe in the arms of Jesus.
