Well, I did it. I made it through my last day of work for the school year! I have one more day to nanny on Thursday then I'm free for summer! I haven't lined up a summer job yet but something will pop up. If not, there's always babysitting! It feels so good to be done.

I packed up most of the car tonight. It's our first road trip in the accord. Should make the trip a little smoother and a little less expensive gas wise. I love my jeep but it's an expensive vehicle. I managed to fit all my things for 9 days in my two Vera bags! I have the satchel and the miller that I use as carry-ons or shoulder bags (future diaper bags!) but all my things fit perfectly! I'm beginning to be an efficient packer! Hooray! I packed most of Emily's things. Hopefully we don't forget anything for her. We bought her a harness the other day and she does much better with it than a collar. It's shiny silver so it sparkles in the sun and looks so classy against her black fur. She's so stylish!

We're going to stay home a couple extra days I think. Woot. So excited to have some more time with our families. Since we're spending the day Sunday by ourselves since it's our anniversary, that took one of the few wedding-less days out of our schedule. With everyone's work schedules it made it difficult to find time for all our family members. This will definitely help. Plus we want to spend as much time with his folks as possibly since the next time we'll see them they'll be in California! I wanted to go to Michigan for the Bonnell Christmas, but California is awfully tempting! Anyways, I'm so excited for our trip!

I should be sleeping right now. I was exhausted but still had things to do earlier. After cleaning up the house, putting everything away, compiling all our trash, loading up the car, and double checking that I hadn't forgotten anything... My second wind has kicked in. I knew this would happen! It always does when I'm that exhausted around dinner time. But I had to get everything in order! We're planning on leaving around 6:30 tomorrow morning so there wouldn't be a lot of time to do it otherwise. Boo.

Well, time to lie in bed until my body falls asleep. Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later.

Goodbye lynchburg! See you in a little over a week!
