What a lazy sort of day. It was beautiful outside today though. I feel like I didn't take advantage of the day. But it was cleaning day. As all Saturdays. I like keeping my home fresh. Part of me is very ready to move on to something bigger and better, but another part of me will miss our cute little apartment very much. We'll still have another year here though, as long as our landlord doesn't decide not to rent it out next year. I don't see that happening though. We love living here and they've told us how much they love having us. It's a great set up actually. And we don't need any more space right now. We have more room than we need. But hopefully next summer it will be baby prep time!
Once again, we have too many dvds and books. I might just buy another bookshelf and put both on there instead of buying separate shelves and racks until it's entirely necessary. I don't know where all these movies and books come from though. We don't buy that often. It's the seasons of shows that really kill us. Qe have the complete series of Friends, the complete series of Gilmore Girls, the complete series so far of 24, and a few seasons of Lost which will probably be added to as we watch them. That takes up a lot of space not to mention all the movies we have together. And of course, my insane library. That's what makes moves real fun, all the heavy boxes of books.
I'm currently reading Dracula for the first time. I always thought it was a "boy" book, but I'm enjoying it immensely. I wish I didn't know the premise of the book. I keep telling the characters, he's a vampire! It would make it so much more interesting if I had to figure it out on my own. It was very cleverly written though. I am glad Matthew suggested it to me. A nice break from girly books, not that Oliver Twist, my last read, was all that girly.
I have felt more exhausted than usual the past couple of days. I blame it on poor sleeping conditions. I haven't had a good solid sleep in a week or so. I would wake up every hour or so and then in the mornings I would check for school closings and go back to bed since we were delayed. Not the best rest for the body or brain. Maybe it's time to pull out the good ole sleep aides again. Ugh.
We're having ham and my favorite pasta and applesauce for dinner. Delicious.
Goodnight.
