Bad news. The Gap store in the Lynchburg mall is closing. Where will Matt and I get pants? Ordering online is such a pain. He only owns Gap pants or jeans and I have a few other brands, but I realized the other day that I only wear the ones from The Gap! We just love their fit and durability. Puddings. I did get two new pairs of pants yesterday at their closeout sale. I got a black pinstripe pair that looks grey from a distance, and a pair of black and white checked really small print. I have been wanting a pair of dress black pants with some kind of design on them so I can wear them with black solid tops. It still makes me sad they're closing.
I hemmed my first pair of pants last night by hand! It will be so much easier to do once I get a sewing machine, but it's nice to know I can do it the old fashioned way with a needle and thread. I generally like being short, but it does pose a problem when I buy pants and they are all too long. It is rather annoying. Stores never have the pants I want in short or petite and I don't like paying shipping to order online, so I just roll the bottoms over. Not fun. I'm going to try to hem them rest of my pants soon and I'll save my jeans for when I get my sewing machine.
I found out today that our director wants to know by February or March if we're coming back next year. Urg. I hate having to make decisions like this. I'll just have to make a pro and con list for all the places I'm considering and pray about it a lot. I really love the school and would miss it so much if I left.
I am very thankful it's the weekend. I need to re cooperate from my first week back at work. My body still isn't used to waking up early!
