Well, no kitten yet. We haven't heard back from our landlord with the ok. I keep telling Matt that it shouldn't matter since we're allowed to have animal: cat on our lease. But he says it's common courtesy since we're in a house not an apartment building. Sigh. Hopefully we'll hear back soon.

Matt and I planned to sleep in this morning. I woke up around 7:00 and couldn't get back to sleep. After lying there for half an hour I decided to get up. Matt said he was going to sleep for a bit longer. It is now almost 9:00. I'm planning on fixing breakfast for us and I'm starving! I ate a little snack after my shower, but that's not tiding me over! Hopefully he'll wake up soon. It's very irregular that he sleeps later than me! I usually sleep way late!

After breakfast we're going to Roanoke for some shopping, looking (ONLY looking... he can't buy one yet) at guns, and of course, Harry Potter! Yes, I know, I can't believe I didn't go see it yesterday either. We thought about it, but since Matt worked yesterday we decided we might as well wait until today when we could have a whole fun day together. We'll also probably get lunch at Logan's! We haven't been there in along time, which is unusual for us because we eat there twice a month of more regularly.

Then tonight I'm having my wives group over. Only one person has let me know they are for sure coming and another is just a maybe. Oh well, if it is just Danielle and I then we'll still have fun! I made Rice Krispies treats last night and am going to make funfetti cupcakes right before the girls are to arrive. It will be delish. And if it is just Danielle and I, then Matt will be happy. He's worried he won't get any snacks!

Well, hopefully he'll wake up soon and I can get breakfast started. I'm making banana french toast! I think I remember that Matt doesn't like french toast? But he's liked a lot of things I've made that he didn't previously. If he doesn't like it then I can just make him some eggs. We're flexible!
