Sigh.

Another new week. We've been going to evening services of church so Matt and I can go together. Last night was a reinactment (did I spell that right? It looks wrong) of Jonathan Edwards sermon "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God". Costumed and abridged, it was good. I have heard the sermon in its entirety before. My dad is a big Edwards fan. A lot of people, especially in today's "relationship not religion" society (which I think is ridiculous), don't want to hear that we're scum. They don't want to hear that at any moment we could be stamped off the face of the planet and plummetted to hell. It seems to offend them. The truth often does that. But of course, Jesus offers a different road. It's all a matter of accepting His free gift, or not. Simple as that. It was interesting. I enjoyed it.

Harry Potter is coming out this week! Yay. I'm reading the book again right now to refresh. The thing I like about her books are what an easy read they are. I started it yesterday and am already halfway through it. And it's not a slim binder either. But it's quick and easy and enjoyable.

I had a dream the other day that I got a cute little gray striped kitten that looked like a real version of Nermal from Garfield. I named him Maxwell. Now, of course, I want one terribly! My birthday's coming up. Maybe that's what I'll ask for!

Well, it's getting late. I should kick out my workout now so the house will be clean and all before Matt gets home.

Toodles.
