Under instruction of my doctor (my father) last night I took a long hot shower, downed four pulls or various pain killers, and got about 10 hours of sleep. I completely darkened my room and put on some relaxing music (courtesy of Seth Campbell, I had forgotten how good his album is!) and tried to "melt". That sounded new age! But today I feel so much better! I am rested, the pain in my shoulder and neck are almost completely gone, and the migraine has diminished greatly. Hopefully I can get to bed early again and all the pain killers I've taken throughout the day will get me back to 100%. I don't want to travel all day Tuesday with a migraine and tensed up back!

Back a few sentences I mentioned Seth's album- if that's the right name for it. In college he recorded some songs on guitar and piano and sent it to me. Let me just say, this kid is amazing. Shame he's going into business... Or finance... Something like that! Anyways, he is incredibly talented. I haven't listened to that CD in years but last night it was the perfect thing for a throbbing head. Very soothing. And he wrote all the songs himself. Kind of made me miss high school. Old friends and all, makes me sad to think of all the people I've lost contact with. I like facebook since I can track people that way, but it's so impersonal. Without it though, I wouldn't ever talk to these people again. Oh life and growing up!

Growing up. I have finally tired of pop music and not bands! I know! I never thought the day would come. Now, Backstreet Boys are still my favorite, but besides that I'm clearing my ipod of all else. Making room for plenty acoustic rock, some instrumentals, and a few good soundtracks. Yes, indeed I am growing up. Bye N Sync, O-town, Britney, and Ashlee. Funny how our tastes change so much.

I think I'm going to update my ipod now. I have a little more time before nannying. Better do it before the Michigan trip!

Tonight I'm nannying (but I get tomorrow off! Yippee!), making my hubband dinner, then going to wives group! So fun. This will be my second one due to one thing or another. Hopefully when I get back from Michigan I can make it a weekly meeting!

Done.
