I saw this on a friend's facebook notes and thought it was interesting. A few of the books are kind of repeated (The Chronicles of Narnia... with The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe being part of those Chronicles... but most people have probably only read the latter anyways), but just one more tally for me! I am almost halfway through this list. I am actually quite proud of that fact. Most of these books I've read or re-read from high school in the past two years. I've always liked older Literature, but never had the time to read those not required for classes. Most of the books on this list I have not read were already on my reading list. Some I have added. There are a couple I don't think I'll ever have the desire to read, but you never know.

Today is the first REAL snow day of the year! Sure, we've had a bit of frosting and a little ice, but nothing like the foot we got last night! It's slowly starting to melt in the afternoon sunshine, but it is still beautiful. I have the entire day off! Matthew went in to work late. He couldn't get his car onto the road because of the snow drifts. So eventually someone from the hospital came to pick him up. I am going to get him when his shift is over in a couple hours. Then I think we'll rent a red box movie, make some delicious dinner, and spend a wonderful evening in. I am wearing my chunky white shag rug sweater. It is the perfect cold weather sweater and I haven't gotten to wear it this winter because it hasn't been cold enough. So happy. Plus I gave myself a lovely braided headband this morning and tried all my new Physician's Formula makeup. Let's just say I don't think I'm ever going back to another brand! It's great stuff and well worth the extra dollars. I also have red red nails (a color I've never worn, it's always been some shade of pink or cranberry, but never red) and LOVE them. I've been missing out these past few years. Basically, I'm loving my look today. Perfect for the first snow day of the year. Perfect.

Well, I finished my book this morning while still in bed being lazy. Now to find something new to read. I was thinking Moby Dick. I bought a copy in the fall with Savannah, but haven't gotten around to reading it yet. I read it a long time ago, back before I understood the every man story in Literature. So it might be time to journey the seas with Captain Ahab once again.
