Well happy valentines day.

I have been sick in bed or on the couch all day. Sounds like a great day to express my love to my husband, huh? It actually turned out to be a very good valentines day for us. He was super sweet and bought me some medicine, some tissues because I had used up all of ours, some of my favorite candies, and chicken noodle soup. Later he went out and got us some dinner and rented is three movies. He also bought me some beautiful yellow red tipped roses. Which I decided were my new favorites. Of course, any roses are beautiful. I like other flowers also, but roses dry the best. I have every rose Matt has ever bought me dried in a box. Pretty romantic I know.

The good news is that I am feeling much better. I plan on staying home all day tomorrow and resting as well. Monday I have a teacher work day at school and I'll probably come home early to rest some more. At least the kids won't be there so I won't get sneezed on. Then I have the day off for nannying. So hopefully I'll be back and ready for action on Tuesday. Hopefully. Last time I was this sick it just kept going and going.

So it has been a very good valentines day. My husband has babied me all day. I've managed to straighten up the house a little, but will save all the major cleaning for when I'm well again. I've also read a whole book and started Ender's Game again. I'll probably end up reading the whole Ender and Bean series again. There were supposed to be new books coming out for both series, but I haven't looked to see if they're out yet or if there's a date listed. I'm excited either way.

Oh, and my parents left for Mexico this morning. They'll be there for two weeks like normal and the dedication of the hospital is on Monday. Any and all prayers are welcome.

Time for a bath and a good long read before bed. Baths work wonders for aches and pains and stuffed up noses.
