Only 4 more days until I'm finally back home! For a whole stinkin month! So excited. A lot of other students here don't want to go home for that long. They'd much rather be here with their friends. Yeah, I would like being with my friends... but I like the idea of doing absolutely nothing for a whole month too. I might just be spoiled.

It is very very HOT outside today. No, not warm. Don't be fooled. It'd downright HOT. It's supposed to be in the 70's in Lynchburg. Nasty. It's December! I could never live in the Carolinas or farther south. I need it to get cold in the winter. It will bother me enough living here. I so hope we can move back up north someday. If not Michigan, at least Pennsylvania or somewhere.

Tonight is my room's white glove check-out. So that means I have a lot of cleaning to do. I already did some last night. My one roommate and I stayed up until around 4-5 in the morning! She was studying, I was cleaning. We just weren't super tired. So it worked out well. I still have a lot more cleaning to do. Part of me wants to clean the whole room myself, but that's just not fair. More than half of it is their mess. I've already cleaned a good portion of their area of the room. And I'll probably do some more later. But it's ok, I suppose. Because I have grown to like cleaning. But yes, I'm getting officially checked out of my room and I'm not leaving until Friday. Wow. But Amy is moving out for good tonight. Kind of sad. I don't have any super connections with her or anything, but it still is kind of a loss. I like her. She's been a fun roommate.

I went to a Bridal Shower for a friend yesterday. It made me really want one! I have one in January with my family, but I want one with my friends. Unfortunately, most of my friends don't live in Virginia. Oh well. It will still be fun. It's just fun having food, and opening presents, and playing funny wedding-ish games. I'm excited. And I'm excited for my one in January. I'll get lots of presents and everyone will be focusing on me. I sound really conceited there, but it's just fun being the bride! I'll never get to be a bride again.

Well, I honestly was just wasting time until I cooled down a bit. Seriously, it's HOT outside. Now I have to trek all the way to the pit to get my car. Hopefully there will be a parking place closer to the dorm when I get back. I have to go get more cleaning supplies and some edibles for my lunch. Yes, it's almost 3 and I'm just eating lunch now. Well, I didn't wake up until almost 1! It's ok though. When you stay up and stay busy until 4 am you're allowed to sleep in WAY late. That won't be happening anymore though. I have to wake up early tomorrow for a "final"... it's a 20 questions open book quiz. Not hard. And Thursday I have to babysit the Killmons... so I should be alert for that. But it will be fun. So my sleeping patterns have to return to normal.

Time to battle the great outdoors once again. I think I'd be quite satisfied spending the rest of the day in my room... or at least on the hall. Maybe I'd go into Kristin and Savannah's room for a bit.
