Of Mice and Men and Lynchburgian Summers

I could probably equal Steinbeck in this category. A lovely little novel of my summer. But I fear it would bore you to tears, but prove all the points necessary.

For those of you who have never lived through a Lynchburgian summer, or even spent a year in Lynchburg, you will have not the smallest incling of what I am hinting at. And for this, I envy you.

Not really, it's not all that bad. I just have to get a little more creative and learn to have some more adventures. I must learn to embrace the dreadful heat and the horrible sunshine and the lack of air conditioning when I desire it most and the extreme chill when I don't particularly care for it. Yes, I have a bad attitude. Only in written form though. In actuality, my summer has not been that bad and I have been making the most of it.

I have to rearrange some plans for my trips home though. I may not be able to get away to go to my friend's birthday. It just is a lot of hastle. We will see when the time gets nearer. And I might have to reschedule my alreayd planned trip home at the beginning of august. I don't like that. I'd like to go home over my birthday. Urg. Life sometimes.

So all in all. I'm feeling a bit over dramatic.

I did see Pirates 3 though. And it has only grown my interests in someday commandeering a fleet of british ships and becoming the piratess over them all. They'll make movies of me someday. Just you wait. I'll be something to talk about. Something to fear.

If all goes according to plan... I'll be married in less than a year. That's coming up real quickly. Oh goodness!
