Wednesday

Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread, called the Passover, was approaching, and the chief priests and the teachers of the law were looking for some way to get rid of Jesus, for they were afraid of the people. Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve. And Judas went to the chief priests and the officers of the temple guiard and discussed with them how he might betray Jesus. They were delighted and agreed to give him money. He consented, and watched for as opportunity to hand Jesus over the them when no crowd was present.
Luke 22:1-6

So the time is fast approaching. I don't want to be Judas. I don't want to trade my Jesus in for worthless pieces of silver. I want to live for Jesus each and every day and to follow him more closely today than I have ever previously. Each day I want to make the commitment to honor and serve Him. Each day I want to try to model my life more like Him. Each day I want to live as though it were Christ living through me.

Easter is almost here. I usually have a breakdown at some point in this week. I got a little emotional when I talked to my Prayer Group about Easter last night. I shared with them one of the things that happened on Tuesday of Passion Week, when Jesus was annointed by Mary. I want to be like Mary. I just want to sit at His feet and drink from the cup in His hands. I want to lean back against Him and breathe and feel His heartbeat.

Tonight is the Easter Communion Service. Don't miss it. It's unlike anything you'll ever experience. That's what I love so much about Liberty Mountain. There is so many opportunities to fellowship with so many other believers. Not only other believers, but where else are you going to find this many college students worshipping God with all that they have? I love it. Prepare you heart. Prepare your soul. Give back to God. And be blessed this Easter season.
